Summer Fun Is in Full Swing at Orchard Crest
Summer has officially arrived at Orchard Crest Retirement Communities, and with it comes a season full of fresh air, great company, and exciting events. As the days grow longer and the weather warms up, residents are embracing everything summer has to offer. At Orchard Crest, we believe summer is meant to be enjoyed, which is why we offer a variety of activities that encourage connection and fun. From outdoor picnics to live music under the sun, our residents are making the most of every beautiful day.
Monthly Outdoor Picnics
One of our favorite summer traditions is our monthly picnic adventures. Each month, residents visit a different local destination to enjoy the warm weather and spend time together outdoors.
In May, we gathered at Liberty Lake Regional Park for a wonderful afternoon filled with good food and great conversation. Residents enjoyed sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips, and refreshing drinks while taking in the scenic surroundings. In addition, a few friendly games of cornhole brought out plenty of laughter and friendly competition. Most importantly, the day provided an opportunity for residents to relax, connect, and enjoy one another’s company in the sunshine.
As summer continues, anticipation is already building for our June picnic. This month, residents will travel to beautiful Coeur d’Alene for another enjoyable day of outdoor recreation.
Summer Concert Series Returns
We were thrilled to kick off our Summer Concert Series over Memorial Day weekend with a fantastic performance by The Kevin Shay Band. The weather was perfect, the turnout was incredible, and it was wonderful to come together as a community outdoors once again.
The concert featured great music, plenty of smiles, and an atmosphere that reminded us why summer is such a special time at Orchard Crest.
The fun continues throughout the season with a concert scheduled each month. Our next performance will feature Steve’s Blue Country Band on Thursday, June 11, from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Guests can enjoy live music along with drinks, snacks, and dessert while spending a relaxing evening with friends and neighbors.
Making Memories Together
Looking for a welcoming community where there’s always something to enjoy? Join us for our next Summer Concert on Thursday, June 11, from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
